Sterling Vineyards' Mediterranean-style white stucco winery complex sits high on a hill surrounded by the rugged Mayacamas and Vaca mountain ranges.
Along with its iconic buildings dating from the 1970s, Sterling Vineyards is the only winery in the world with aerial gondolas. The 2020 Glass Fire required a new tram system and support structures. Thirteen new Doppelmayr cabins now ferry visitors to enjoy the spectacular views and wines.
